Tyson Fury has revealed his undisputed heavyweight showdown with Oleksandr Usyk is set to take place on December 23 sportsbook
Fury and Usyk signed contracts last month for the eagerly-anticipated clash, which will take place in Riyadh and be the first undisputed contest in the blue riband division since Lennox Lewis beat Evander Holyfield at Madison Square Garden in 1999 when all the belts were on the line sportsbook
At the time of the September 29 announcement from Queensberry and K2 Promotions no date for the bout was revealed, but Fury has now seemingly confirmed it will take place two days before Christmas sportsbook
Fury is currently in Riyadh preparing to face UFC fighter Francis Ngannou on Saturday, although has no concerns over the eight-week gap sportsbook between this weekend’s tune-up bout and the proposed date to take on Usyk sportsbook
He told Sky sportsbook Sports: “We’ve signed the contracts sportsbook
December 23, that’s out there isn’t it? It’s only eight weeks away from Saturday sportsbook
Why not?“I’ve not even had a fight this year so to get two in before the end of the year would be fantastic sportsbook
“Double payday sportsbook
There’ll be a nice big turkey in the Fury household this Christmas!“If it happens December 23, I’ll be playing that song, ‘Driving Home For Christmas’ sportsbook
“I won’t land back in the UK until Christmas Eve, late Christmas Eve and if we get a delay I’ll be spending Christmas with the reindeers in the airport!”Fury will contest the 35th bout of his career this weekend, but his WBC title will not be on the line against Ngannou for the 10-round fight sportsbook

Rob Key says Ben Stokes remains entirely focused on representing England cricket for years to come - despite only choosing to sign a one-year deal rather than a multi-season option sportsbook
The Test captain had the opportunity to be one of the initial group of players to land a new multiple-season contract, which have been handed out for the first time sportsbook
But he has turned it down partially in favour of putting himself in a stronger negotiating position a year from now, when a new round of broadcast rights begins and central contracts could be worth more accordingly sportsbook
Managing director Key insisted it was primarily this, rather than any feeling from Stokes that he may not continue to represent England, which was behind the decision sportsbook
“By no means is it Ben Stokes saying, ‘I don’t want to play for England’,” Key told BBC Sport sportsbook
“All he talks about is being completely committed to playing for England and also captaining that Test team - planning for India, planning for the Ashes, planning for West Indies and Sri Lanka next summer sportsbook
“I don’t think it has crossed his mind not playing for England for the next four, five, six years sportsbook
“Ben, quite rightly, feels when the next memorandum of understanding starts and the contract cycle changes he will be in a stronger position sportsbook
Other players have gone for that security [of the fixed-term contract] sportsbook
”Central contracts’ values are tied to the worth of broadcasting rights deals at the time of signing, so would not change next year if a more lucrative deal is in place sportsbook
The England and Wales Cricket Board have handed out a total of 18 multi-year deals, with players signing them including Jofra Archer, Joe Root, Ollie Pope and Rehan Ahmed sportsbook
The contracts give England greater control over their players when there are schedule clashes, though it does not immediately mean individuals will not play franchise cricket sportsbook
